Costs

The entry fee schedule is:

• $6,500 USD prior to April 1.
• $7,000 USD between April 1 and June 1.
• $7,500 USD after June 1.

What is included in the Entry Fee?

• Administrative and logistical costs of La Carrera Panamericana for a weeklong, 2000 mile race.
• One double occupancy hotel room per car. (Upgrades and additional rooms available.)
• Receptions, daily debriefings, route books, souvenirs, limited liability insurance while in speed sections, technical advice and support from the La Carrera Panamericana and Unlimited Class staff.

Refunds:

Deposits and entry payments are not refundable.

However, credit will the given for the next year’s race (2009) if you notify the Unlimited Class office (Application@TheUnlimitedClass.com) by September 1 that you are withdrawing. After September 1, the Organizers may only roll over only a portion of the fee as a credit toward the race next year because of the expenses they have incurred. The Organizers in Mexico will make this decision on a case-by-case basis. Hotel payments will not be refunded or rolled over.

The Organizers will refund all paid and collected funds if the event is canceled. If the event is stopped or interrupted by an act of God, war, etc., the Organizers will seek to refund as much of the paid and collected funds as possible. This is the limit of the Organizers’ responsibility.
