Hotel Rooms

Hotel rooms for La Carrera Panamericana are categorized into “prime accommodation” and “premium accommodation”. Your entry fee includes one “prime accommodation” double occupancy room from October 23rd to October 30th (8 nights) at headquarter hotels.

“Prime accommodation” rooms are typically in 3-4 star hotels and “premium accommodation” rooms are in 5 star hotels. Some participants choose to stay in “premium accommodation” rooms at one hotel while their service crews and vehicles stay in the “prime accommodation” rooms as a cost saving measure.

A typical “premium accommodation” hotel is the Crowne Plaza in Puebla which is pictured below and can be further seen by clicking here.

Most participants arrive three days prior to the beginning of the race to sort out their equipment, participate in qualification stages the day before the race officially begins and socialize with other drivers. Drivers traditionally leave the day after the final award ceremony, either waking early to drive their vehicles home or to go to the airport. Please allow for adequate time in making your flight and choose a late afternoon departure hour.

“Prime accommodation” additional hotel room nights are $150 USD each. “Prime accommodation” extra rooms are avaliable for service crews or the like as a package. The extra room package includes 8 nights, from October 23 to October 30. The cost is $1200 USD.

“Premium accommodation” upgrade packages typically cost an additional $200 USD per evening extra, and the package price for 2008 will be announced soon.

If you are arriving prior to Oct. 23, please inform us on your application.
If you are leaving after Oct. 31, please inform us on your application.

Terms and conditions:
*Your complete hotel list will be sent by e-mail one week before the race.
*We will receive total payments for extra rooms, and extra nights until September 30 2008.
*Rooms are assigned in order of entry fee payment.
*Included rooms or the extra rooms are not transferible or any funds refundable in most conditions.
